How it Began

Life has a funny way of giving you a nudge when you need it most.

For Emma, that nudge came after years in the corporate world — a world of deadlines, meetings, and neatly pressed outfits. She gave everything 110%, as she always had… until her body gently (and then not so gently) told her it was time to slow down.

Something had to change.

The Wake-Up Call

During her recovery, Emma had the space to ask herself a big question:
What do I actually want my life to look like?

The answer surprised her. She didn’t miss the office. She didn’t miss the inbox chaos or the constant pressure. What she did miss was feeling connected — to herself, to nature, and to the simple joys of everyday life.

So she started small. Gentle walks. Fresh air. And lots of time with her dogs, Yasmine and Merlin, who were more than happy to help her rediscover the magic of muddy paws and slow woodland wanders.

That’s when the spark hit.

One Paw at a Time

What began as short walks to rebuild strength soon turned into something unexpected. Neighbours started asking if Emma could take their dogs along too. Friends of friends followed. Before she knew it, those quiet strolls had turned into joyful little packs, full of wagging tails and happy chaos.

Balancing part-time office work with her growing love of dog walking, Emma realised she’d stumbled into something special — a life that mixed structure with spontaneity, and professionalism with pure fun.

From Walks to Doggie Play Dates

Emma quickly noticed something important: dogs, just like people, thrive on friendship.

So she began organising small, carefully managed group walks — what she lovingly calls doggie play dates. These weren’t just walks around the block; they were social adventures where dogs could play, explore, and build real bonds.

The dogs loved it.
Their owners loved it.
And Oodles was born.

More Than a Business — A Dog Family

Today, Oodles is a much-loved part of life across Stamford, Bourne, The Deepings, and Peterborough. Known for its flexibility, reliability, and genuine care, Oodles isn’t just about getting dogs from A to B — it’s about understanding each dog as an individual.

From shy rescues who need gentle introductions, to high-energy pups who thrive in group play, Emma and her team have a knack for reading dogs and creating safe, happy experiences that owners trust completely.

Oodles isn’t just a business.
It’s a family — full of happy faces, crazy canines and a lot of love & cuddles. Oodles really do do it FUR THE LOVE OF DOGS!!

A Lifestyle Built on Wagging Tails

Emma often says she didn’t just change jobs — she changed her life.

While she still occasionally dips a toe back into office work, it’s the wagging tails, slobbery kisses, and joyful chaos that truly fill her days. Oodles is about more than walks; it’s about giving dogs the freedom, fun, and friendship they deserve.

And as Oodles continues to grow, one thing stays the same:
everything is done with heart ….FUR THE LOVE OF DOGS 🐶

How it's going

What started as a handful of joyful walks has grown into something even bigger — and even more exciting.

The business has grown, the pack has expanded, and what was once a solo adventure is now powered by a brilliant, trusted team who all share the same values: kindness, reliability, and a genuine love for dogs. Every member of the Oodles crew is carefully chosen, trained, and committed to giving each dog the same level of care and attention Emma built the business on from day one.

Growing the Pack (The Right Way)

As demand grew, Emma knew one thing for sure — Oodles would never be about cramming in more dogs or rushing through walks. Growth had to be thoughtful, personal, and always centred around the dogs’ wellbeing.

That’s why Oodles has expanded slowly and intentionally, building a team that understands each dog’s personality, energy level, and social needs. Whether it’s a confident social butterfly or a quieter pup who prefers a smaller group, every dog is placed where they’ll feel safe, happy, and included.

Bridging the Gap Between Walkers and Daycare

Oodles now sits perfectly between traditional dog walking and doggy daycare — offering the best of both worlds.

Dogs get:

Longer, more enriching adventures - Minimum of 90 minutes guaranteed playtime in our secure paddock

Carefully matched social play - With 2 secure paddock, our crew care that your pooches are having fun

Consistent routines with familiar faces

Plenty of freedom, fun, and fresh air

It’s not a quick lead-on, lead-off walk. And it’s not an overwhelming indoor daycare environment either. It’s a play-led, outdoor experience that feels like a day out with friends — structured, supervised, and full of joy.

Care You Can Trust

As Oodles has grown, so has its commitment to excellence.

From ongoing training and clear communication with owners, to safe group sizes and genuine one-to-one attention, everything is designed to give dogs outstanding care — and owners complete peace of mind.

The trust built with families across Stamford, Bourne, The Deepings, and Peterborough is something Emma and the team are incredibly proud of.

Still Built on Heart

Despite the growth, the heart of Oodles hasn’t changed.

It’s still about…

Flexibility to work for busy Pawrents
Fuelled by waggy tails from happy doggies
And your pooches coming home happy, relaxed, and fulfilled.

Oodles may be bigger now — but it’s still driven by the same passion that started it all: creating joyful, safe, social experiences where dogs can truly be dogs.

And honestly?
The best part is knowing this is just the beginning 🐶✨

What’s Next

The journey so far has been amazing, but for Emma and the Oodles crew, the adventure is far from over. The plan? more tail-wagging fun, more happy pups, and more ways to make every day special.
